Prepare the Work Area:

Select the Appropriate Bur:

Shank Insertion:

  • Fully insert the shank of the Mani Diamond Bur into the dental handpiece to ensure a secure and stable connection.

Pre-Use Inspection:

  • Run the Mani Diamond Bur at a low speed to check for any wobbling or decentering. Replace the bur if any irregularities are observed to maintain precision.

Patient Preparation:

  • Prepare the patient for the procedure, ensuring comfort and adequate anesthesia if necessary.

Coolant and Lubrication:

  • Use a continuous coolant spray during the procedure to prevent overheating of the bur and the treated area.
  • Maintain a consistent water supply to prevent clogging and minimize the risk of pulp-related issues.

Proper Pressure and Speed:

  • Apply appropriate pressure, typically 20 to 50 PSI, depending on the bur's diameter.
  • Operate the bur at or below the maximum recommended RPM to prevent overheating and maintain efficiency.

Correct Motion:

  • Maintain steady and controlled movements, avoiding abrupt levering, tilting, twisting, or jamming motions.
  • Avoid using a pulling motion, as it can damage the instrument and affect procedural precision.

Sterilization:

  • After use, clean and sterilize the Mani Diamond Bur.
