- Preparation: Ensure the workspace is clean and organized. Gather all necessary materials, including impression trays, mixing tips, and Impregum Soft in the required consistency (light, medium, or heavy-bodied).
- Mixing: Attach the correct mixing tip to the Impregum Soft cartridge and load it into a compatible dispensing gun.
- Tray Selection: Select a properly sized impression tray based on the procedure and patient needs, ensuring it is clean and dry.
- Loading the Tray: Dispense the mixed Impregum Soft material into the impression tray, avoiding air bubbles.
- Patient Preparation: Ensure the patient’s mouth is clean and dry. Use isolation techniques if necessary to control moisture and saliva.
- Impression Taking: Position the loaded tray in the patient’s mouth, ensuring full coverage. Instruct them to bite gently but firmly.
- Setting Time: Allow the material to set as per the manufacturer’s recommendations while ensuring the patient remains still.
- Removal: Once set, gently remove the impression tray to prevent distortion.
- Inspection: Check the impression for accuracy, ensuring no voids, tears, or defects.
