DURATOCIN RTS Injection contains Carbetocin 100 mcg, a long-acting synthetic oxytocin analogue. It is used to prevent uterine atony and postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) following caesarean section under regional anesthesia. Carbetocin mimics the action of natural oxytocin, promoting strong and sustained uterine contractions to minimize blood loss after delivery.
