1. Prepare Mixing Area

  • Use polymer-mixing pad and assemble GIC powder, liquid, applicator, and spatula.

2. Mix Powder & Liquid

  • Maintain a 3:1 powder-to-liquid ratio.

  • Mix for ~45 seconds with smooth, consistent strokes to avoid premature setting.

3. Cavity Isolation & Liner Application

  • Apply rubber dam.

  • Use an applicator or spatula for calcium hydroxide liner placement in deep regions.

4. Condition & Bulk-Fill

  • Condition cavity walls (as per material specs).

  • Use spatula to insert and shape GIC in bulk, before initial set.

5. Finish & Polish

  • After setting, polish restoration using burs or discs for smooth, esthetic results.

  • Clean and autoclave spatulas post-use, inspect for wear, and store.

  • Non-stick surface ensures clean and easy mixing
