1. Prepare Mixing Area

Use polymer-mixing pad and assemble GIC powder, liquid, applicator, and spatula.
2. Mix Powder & Liquid

Maintain a 3:1 powder-to-liquid ratio.

Mix for ~45 seconds with smooth, consistent strokes to avoid premature setting.
3. Cavity Isolation & Liner Application

Apply rubber dam.

Use an applicator or spatula for calcium hydroxide liner placement in deep regions.
4. Condition & Bulk-Fill

Condition cavity walls (as per material specs).

Use spatula to insert and shape GIC in bulk, before initial set.
5. Finish & Polish

After setting, polish restoration using burs or discs for smooth, esthetic results.
