1. Tooth Surface Preparation:
- Clean and isolate the tooth.
- Remove any infected or inflamed pulp tissue.
2. Mixing E-MTA:
- Measure the required amount of E-MTA powder.
- Transfer the powder to a clean mixing pad.
- Mix with sterile water or saline until a thick, putty-like consistency is achieved.
3. Application:
- Use a small applicator to place the prepared E-MTA in the desired area.
- For pulp capping or pulpotomy, apply a thin layer over the exposed pulp.
- For root canal filling or repair, pack the material into the prepared space.
4. Setting Process:
- Cover the E-MTA with a moist cotton pellet and seal with a temporary restoration.
- Allow it to set for 3-4 hours as recommended.
5. Final Restoration:
- Remove the temporary restoration and cotton pellet.
- Complete the procedure by placing a permanent restoration over the set E-MTA.
- Stain-resistant, tricalcium silicate-based bioactive cement suitable for various endodontic applications.
