Preparation:

- Remove any decay or damaged tissue and clean the area according to the specific procedure requirements.
Access and Application:
- Use a suitable dental instrument (e.g., spatula or amalgam carrier) to take a small amount of E-MTA Putty.
- Apply the material directly to the prepared site, adjusting the technique based on the procedure, such as pulp capping, pulpotomy, or perforation repair.
Condensation and Adaptation:
- Gently condense and adapt the E-MTA Putty to ensure a proper seal and integration with the tooth structure, using appropriate dental instruments like pluggers or condensers.
Excess Removal:
- Remove any excess material to ensure it aligns smoothly with the tooth surface.
Radiographic Verification:
- For root canal procedures, take an X-ray to confirm correct placement and sealing of the material within the root canal space.
Sealing (if applicable):
- In root canal treatments, seal the access point with a suitable restorative material, such as a dental filling or crown.
