Handpiece Attachment:

  • Attach the contra-angle handpiece securely to the Marathon Endo E Class Endo Motor. Follow the instructions provided with the endomotor for proper attachment.

File Selection:

  • Choose the appropriate rotary endodontic file based on the specific procedure and tooth conditions.

Loading:

  • Utilize the push-button chuck loading mechanism to load the selected rotary file into the handpiece. Ensure it is securely in place.

Power On:

  • Turn on the Marathon Endo E Class Endo Motor using the designated power switch.

Speed Adjustment:

  • Adjust the speed control to the desired RPM (rotations per minute) according to the requirements of the procedure.

Torque Setting:

  • Set the torque level as needed for the specific procedure. Ensure the torque is within the recommended range for the selected rotary file.

Positioning:

  • Position the contra-angle handpiece with the loaded file in the patient's mouth according to the treatment plan.

Operate in Forward Direction:

  • Initiate the operation in the forward direction to begin the biomechanical preparation process.

Auto Stop Reverse:

  • In case of an overload, the auto-stop reverse feature will activate. Allow the motor to automatically reverse direction until the load is resolved.

Resume Forward Direction:

  • Once the overload is resolved, the motor will automatically resume running in the forward direction.

Monitor Torque and Speed:

  • Throughout the operation, keep a close eye on both torque and speed to ensure they remain within the safe and effective range.

File Removal:

  • After completing the procedure, use the push-button chuck loading mechanism to safely remove the rotary file from the handpiece.

Power Off:

  • Turn off the Marathon Endo E Class Endo Motor once the procedure is complete.
