- 40/box
- Connect the barbed end of the Neotech Meconium Aspirator to the suction line.
- Set the suction pressure at 80 mm Hg or lower for safe operation.
- Intubate the patient with the appropriate endotracheal tube.
- Connect the 15 mm I.D. end of the Neotech Meconium Aspirator to the 15 mm O.D. endotracheal tube adapter.
- To initiate suctioning, block the thumb port with your thumb.
- Suction meconium for a maximum of two seconds at a time until the airway is clear. Use intermittent suctioning as needed by unblocking the thumb port to stop suctioning, then blocking again to continue.
- Continue suctioning while carefully withdrawing the endotracheal tube.
- Discard the device after use, adhering to proper waste disposal protocols.
- Minimizes the risk of airway obstruction caused by meconium aspiration, critical for newborn resuscitation.
- Provides ease of use with a reliable suction control mechanism.
- Enhances workflow efficiency in neonatal settings by streamlining meconium aspiration without the need for mouth suctioning.
- Contributes to better outcomes in newborns by facilitating immediate airway clearance.
