Preparation:
- Ensure the implant abutment and crown are clean and dry.
- Organize the workspace and have all tools ready.
Mixing:
- Attach a mixing tip to the dual-barrel syringe.
- Dispense a small amount onto a pad to confirm proper mix consistency.
Application:
- Apply a thin, even layer of Premier® Dental Implant Cement™ to the crown’s inner margin using the auto-mix syringe.
- Avoid overfilling to minimize excess cement.
Seating the Crown:
- Carefully place the crown onto the abutment.
- Apply gentle pressure to fully seat the crown.
Initial Set Time:
- Let the cement reach its gel phase (approx. 2.5 minutes).
- Avoid disturbing the crown during this period.
Excess Cement Removal:
- Once gelled, remove any excess cement from margins and nearby areas.
- Ensure complete removal to prevent irritation or complications.
Final Set:
- Allow full setting per manufacturer’s guidelines before functional loading.
- Confirm the crown's fit and stability.
Radiographic Check:
- Take radiographs if needed to verify complete cement removal.
Post-Procedure:
- Advise the patient on proper care and hygiene.
