- 1 x 13 ml bottle.
- Operative Field Isolation: Begin by isolating the operative field using a rubber dam, as is typically done in root canal therapy. This step ensures a clean and controlled environment for the procedure.
- Mechanical Cleaning: Clean out the pulp chamber and entrance to the canals using appropriate mechanical instruments. Thoroughly remove any debris or remnants present in these areas.
- Application of Endosolv: Place several drops of Endosolv in an adapted container or dish. Then, carefully apply a drop of Endosolv directly into the cleaned pulp chamber.
- Instrument Preparation: Before inserting any instruments into the canal, dip the instrument's working tip into the Endosolv solution. This ensures that the instrument is coated with the solvent for effective action.
- Canal Clearing: Using a probe or broach, insert the instrument into the canal and advance it towards the apex. As you encounter resistance or reach the desired depth, remove the instrument from the canal and wipe it clean. Repeat this process several times, continuously dipping the instrument's tip into the Endosolv solution before each insertion.
- Repeat and Rinse: Repeat the previous step, advancing the instrument further into the canal with each insertion, until you have thoroughly cleared the canal to the apex. Throughout the process, ensure that the instrument is wiped clean as soon as resistance is felt.
- Intermediate Irrigation: Consider utilizing sodium hypochlorite as an intermediate irrigation solution between instrumentations. This can help neutralize any residual solvent and enhance the disinfection process.
