Woodpecker KP Root Injectable Root Canal Sealer
Woodpecker KP Root is a non-resin cement that enhances biocompatibility and simplifies pulp chamber cleaning after endodontic obturation. This ready-to-use bioceramic sealer releases calcium ions to promote mineralized tissue formation and incorporates calcium hydroxide to facilitate healing. Its ionic dissociation of Ca(2+) and OH(-) ions supports healthy tissues, stimulates hard-tissue deposition, and possesses antibacterial properties.
Features:
- Quick and Easy Application: Facilitates a straightforward process.
- Excellent Accessibility: Provides easy access to the apex and supports plunger-type placement.
- Radiopacity: Ensures visibility on X-rays.
- Outstanding Antibacterial and Bacteriostatic Properties: Effectively combats bacterial presence.
- Optimal Flowability: Allows the sealer to reach and fill hard-to-access areas.
- Promotes Rapid Healing: Enhances recovery speed.

- 1 x 2g Syringe
- Anesthetize, install absolute isolation and then perform the biomechanical preparation of root canal
- Remove the sealing tip and attach the applicator tip on the syringe
- Dry the canal only with absorbent paper cones without causing excessive dryness
- Apply KP-RCS in the apical third of the canal directly with the syringe
- Insert the gutta percha cone in the canal according to the last file used covered with KP-RCS
- X-ray for checking the correct filling of the canal
- Cut the cone at the desired height with heated instruments followed by vertical compression
- Remove, excessive material from the canal walls, perform crown sealing and restoration.
- The presence of moisture in dentinal tubules, combined with the chemical reaction of Calcium Silicate, leads to the crystallization of Calcium Hydroxide.
- KP Root Canal Sealer provides a complete and hermetic seal within the root canal.
- Prevents bacterial proliferation.
- Exhibits strong antibacterial and bacteriostatic qualities due to its high alkalinity.
