Waldent Glasseal Glass Ionomer Liner LC
Waldent Glasseal Glass Ionomer Liner LC is a light-cured, resin-reinforced glass ionomer liner offering strong adhesion, fluoride release, and bioactive protection. Designed to be placed under composite or amalgam restorations, it combines the benefits of glass ionomers and composites, ensuring long-lasting restorations with enhanced biocompatibility and minimal post-op sensitivity.
Features:
-
High Bond Strength: Chemically adheres to dentin and enamel, improving restoration durability.
-
Thermal Compatibility: Reduces risk of post-operative sensitivity by matching tooth structure behavior.
-
Minimal Shrinkage: Ensures marginal integrity and reduces microleakage.
-
Low Solubility: Withstands oral fluids, contributing to long-term stability.
-
Bioactive Glass Technology: Radiopaque and ion-releasing to promote enamel remineralization.
-
Fluoride Release: Provides continuous protection against secondary caries.
-
Radiopaque: Easily visible on X-rays for diagnostic monitoring.
-
Light-Curable: Cures quickly and effectively with any standard dental curing unit.
Indications:
-
As a liner under composite, amalgam, or indirect restorations
-
For pulp protection and post-op sensitivity reduction
-
Enhances enamel remineralization via fluoride release
-
Promotes biocompatibility in deep cavities
-
Compensates for marginal gaps through volume expansion
