Technical Specification

Composition:

  • Seal Pex Powder: Bismuth oxide, Methenamine, /Titanium dioxide
  • Seal Pex Resin: Epoxy Resin

Storage:-

  • Store at room temperature.
  • Keep the powder bottle and resin tube tightly closed.

Setting time:-

  • The setting time according ISO 6876 : 1986 (e) ranges between 9 and 15 hours at 37 °c.
  • Expansion from 1st day to 30days is 0.20% deviation +-0.10%
  • 1 x Powder 10g
  • 1 x Liquid 10ml

Mixing:

  • Use a glass slab and metal spatula

  • Mix 2–3 parts powder with 1 part resin

  • Mix to a stringy consistency that breaks 1.5–2.5 cm above slab

  • For a more fluid mix, warm the slab gently

Application:

  • Load mixed cement on a lentulo spiral

  • Insert slowly into canal at low speed to avoid air entrapment

  • Withdraw while rotating slowly

  • Alternatively, use a reamer (size equal to last apical file) to pump sealant into canal

  • Coat the master gutta percha point and place into canal

  • Use lateral or vertical condensation techniques for additional points

  • Long working time allows flexible application

  • Easy handling and smooth consistency

  • Minimizes voids and enhances sealing ability

  • Avoids discoloration of treated teeth

  • Suitable for use with lentulo spirals, reamers, and gutta-percha

  • Thermoplastic nature allows easy retreatment

  • Effective sealing in lateral and accessory canals
